For those snowmobilers who want the new 89Xi Turbo, but have grown to prefer the Amp Blue lens, Scott is introducing the 89Xi Turbo LS, which has the new 89Xi frame, Oversized Three Layer Molded (TLM) Face Foam, Scott’s Polar Shield, and the completely redesigned Turbo lens of the 89Xi Turbo. The difference is the thermal light-sensitive lens. Impregnated with chemicals reactive to ultraviolet light, the light-sensitive lens, when exposed to ultraviolet light, will start to change tints from clear to blue almost immediately, a perfect feature to keep the glare down when exiting shady sections on snowmobile trails. The LS lens incorporates the new Turbo venting pattern designed to eliminate fogging by controlling and directing airflow. The 89Xi Turbo LS is the goggle of choice for avid snowmobilers.
