4 Shell Sizes Shoei off-road helmets’ specially designed shells are available in four sizes to accommodate a more fine tuned fit. The shell is constructed with Shoei’s own high performance AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus Multi-Fiber), a combination of fiberglass and organic fibers. The result is an ultra-lightweight and rigid yet elastic structure. For performance and a comfortable fit, Shoei has the bases covered.
AIM+ advanced integrated matrix plus multi-fiber A.I.M.+ offers a high performance combination of new and advanced shell materials, producing a light weight shell with increased rigidity and elasticity. This reduces inertia and impact energy in the event of and accident, as well as provides a comfortable ride.
Extractor ventilation system Our off-road helmets combine adjustable front intake vents with rear extractor vents and a neck outlet vent to maximize flow-through ventilation. Airflow is directed to the helmet’s interior with the aid of a Dual EPS liner with air channels. The helmet’s interior is cooled by air passing into the front intake vents and exhausted through the rear extractor vents by the force of negative air pressure.
V-430 “Sleek” visor Maintenance and removal is simplified with the use of three easy to handle visor screws, which are accessible from the exterior of the helmet.
Impact absorption liner eps Shoei off-road helmets utilize a two piece, dual density EPS liner with air channels, providing advantages for both impact absorption and ventilation. Air flows through channels in the 2-layer liner, allowing air to circulate throughout the inside of the helmet and exit out of the rear extractor vents.
Removable 3D Max-Dry liner with emergency quick release system Shoei off-road helmets incorporate interior components, which include cheek pads, upper liner and chin straps, all of which are thermo-molded to match the liner of the helmet’s interior. These components are easily removed for cleaning and/or replacement.
Ventilation system The ventilation system utilizes optimally located vents. Hot air passes through the top portion of the helmet and is effectively exhausted from vents with the help of negative air pressure against the shell.
Mouth piece Shoei’s Mouth Piece is ventilated with protective reinforced mesh screen.
